Requesting Maintenance

How to report a repair issue and track its progress.

When to submit a maintenance request

Submit a request whenever there is a defect, malfunction, or safety issue in your rental property, such as:

  • Plumbing leaks or blockages
  • Electrical faults
  • Broken appliances included in the lease
  • Structural damage
  • Pest infestations

How to submit

  1. Go to **My Leases → Active**
  2. Click **Request Maintenance** on the relevant lease
  3. Select the issue type, describe the problem, and optionally attach photos
  4. Submit — the landlord is notified immediately

Tracking progress

Your request will show one of these statuses:

  • **Pending** — submitted, awaiting landlord action
  • **Assigned** — landlord has assigned a service provider
  • **In Progress** — service provider is working on it
  • **Resolved** — issue has been marked complete

If your request is ignored

If the landlord does not respond within a reasonable time, you can raise a dispute from My Leases → Raise Dispute (category: Maintenance).
