Reviewing Applications

Where to find applications

Go to Leases → Applications to see all pending applications for your properties.

What you can see

Each application shows:

• Renter name, contact info, and verified status
• Desired move-in date and lease duration
• Message from the renter
• Uploaded documents (if any)

Approving an application

Click Approve to accept. Rentakoto will automatically generate a lease contract with the terms from your listing. The renter will be notified and sent the contract to sign.

Rejecting an application

Click Reject and optionally provide a reason. The renter will be notified. Reasons are helpful but not mandatory.

Application expiry

Applications expire after a set number of days if you do not act on them. Expiring applications are flagged in your dashboard — act promptly to avoid losing qualified renters.
