Application Status Explained

Status overview

Each application in My Leases shows a status badge that tells you exactly where things stand.

Pending

Your application has been submitted and the landlord has been notified. No action needed from you yet. Average response time is 1–3 business days.

Approved — Awaiting Your Signature

The landlord has accepted your application and generated a contract. You need to review and sign the lease. Go to My Leases → Action Required to sign.

Awaiting Payment

You have signed the contract. The next step is to pay the security deposit and/or first month's rent. Go to My Leases and click Pay Now.

Awaiting Landlord Countersignature

Payment has been received and the landlord needs to countersign. This typically takes 1–2 business days.

Active

Your lease is fully executed. Both parties have signed and payment is confirmed.

Rejected

The landlord has declined your application. You may see a reason provided. You are free to apply to other properties.
