Paying Rent

Payment schedule

Your rent due date is set in your lease agreement (e.g., the 1st or 15th of each month). You will receive a reminder email 3 days before each due date.

How to pay

Go to My Leases → Active and click on your lease, then click Make Payment. Supported methods depend on your country and plan:

• Credit/debit card
• Direct debit (where available)
• Bank transfer

Security deposit

The security deposit is paid once when activating your lease. It is held by the landlord and returned at the end of the tenancy, subject to any deductions for damage.

Late payments

If you miss a payment:

1. You will receive an overdue email notification
2. Late fees may apply per your lease terms
3. Extended non-payment may result in a default on your lease

Dispute about a payment

If you believe a charge is incorrect, you can raise a formal dispute from My Leases → Active → Raise Dispute (category: Rent Payment).
